View Shared Calendars

AMBS has a couple of shared calendars that some people find useful: the Meetings calendar and the course schedule calendar.

One key thing

Adding the calendars to your calendar only lets you view the calendars easily; it does not make you unavailable for other meeting requests. If you are taking a particular class or are involved in a particular meeting, you should copy that event to your own calendar.

A second key thing

Due to programming deficiencies, the course schedule calendar does not use recurring appointments to set up events--every class session is a discrete appointment. If you want to copy your courses to your own calendar you will need to either (a) copy one occurrence and edit it to make it a recurring event, or (b) copy each occurrence individually.

Adding the AMBS Meetings and Course Schedule Calendars

  1. In your AMBS calendar, click "Add other calendar" (the + near the phrase "Other calendars).

  2. Select the option "Subscribe to calendar."

  3. Search for "Meeting" or "Course" and select the relevant calendar from the results list. Repeat for the other calendar.
