Using the room computer to project
Turn on the projector using the remote (see Illustration WH212.1 on this page).
Turn on the power strip (see Illustration WH212.2 on this page - NOTE: the strip is often left on by the previous user).
Turn on the PC. The computer power button is on the right side of the computer near the top. There is an arrow on the computer that points to it.
(optional) Swing the keyboard tray out from the wall so you can more easily see what you're about to do.
Sign in to the PC with your AMBS network account. This is the account you use to sign in to your own computer (or, on a Mac, the account you were given when you first started work at AMBS).
Using your own computer to project
Turn on the projector using the remote (see Illustration WH212.1 on this page).
Connect your computer to the appropriate cable hanging on the hooks below the keyboard/mouse tray.
Use the projector remote to select the appropriate source (either HDMI or Computer, depending on the cable you used -- see Illustration WH212.1 on this page).
Using videoconferencing (Google Meet, Zoom, etc.)
Follow the steps for using the room computer to project. The speakers and microphones in that room should already be connected and ready to go.
Troubleshooting:
No camera image? Unplug the camera and plug it back in. (The white USB adapter on the power strip is power for the camera.)
No sound in Zoom/Meet? Verify that your app is set to use the Easy USB Mixer/Amp.
