116B

Waltner 116 can be configured in one of four ways: this page covers use of 116B either as a standalone room or as joined with either or both other rooms (116A or 116C).

Using 116 as one big room

Projecting from the Room Computer

When using 116 as one large space, if you want the same image to appear on all screens in the room you should use the computer in 116B.

    • The computer is mounted on the wall to the left of the screen in 116B.

    • The power button for the computer is on the left side of the computer near the bottom.

    • While the computer boots up, turn on the TVs. The remote will turn on up to four TVs at once. You can also turn on individual TVs using the power button in the center of the bottom edge of each TV.

    • If the computer in 116B is the only computer turned on, the TVs should automatically display signal from that computer.

    • If any screen is not displaying the computer from 116B, use the remote to select HDMI 1 on the TV in question (see Illustration 1 on this page). Alternately, navigate the TV input menu using the power button in the bottom center of the TV. Tap the button, then tap again until you get to inputs, then long press the button, then tap to cycle between inputs. (The remote is probably easier if you can make it control just the one TV.)

How Audio Works in 116

The controller for the speakers and microphones in 116 is on the wall to the right of the TV in 116B. Tapping the volume knob will make the display options appear. There are six touch sensitive buttons and a single knob. Refer to Illustration 2 on this page.

    • To ensure the speakers are all playing sound from the room computer, touch the "Combine (CBA)" button.

    • To turn volume up in 116C, tap the "Vol 116C" button. To turn it down, press and hold the "Vol C" button.

    • To turn volume up in 116A, tap the "Vol 116A" button. To turn it down, press and hold the "Vol A" button.

    • To turn volume up or down in 116B, use the volume knob.

Projecting from Your Own Computer in 116B

    • Use an HDMI cable to connect your computer to the front monitor via the floor box.

    • Use the LG remote to change the input to HDMI 3 ("User PC")

Note: your computer will be shown on only the screen nearest the floor box and your computer audio will play only through the TV, not the room system. If you want to use your own computer and project to multiple TVs, you will need to start a video conference on the room computer and connect to the video conference from your own computer.
