Room Capabilities and Suitable Uses

This page contains a list of commonly used classrooms and meeting rooms at AMBS. Room capabilities are listed under each room. Click the room name to see instructions for using the equipment in that room. (If the room you want to use is not listed, you should assume there is no projection or audio technology in that room. If you must use that room, borrow the equipment you need from the AMBS library.)

• Waltner 111 (Ad Cabinet)

  • Size: up to 8 people around a table

  • Amenities

    • One 50" display

    • Dedicated PC with wireless keyboard and mouse

    • Wall-mounted PTZ camera

    • Snowball microphone and 

    • QR code on PC pointing to technical documentation for the room

  • Suggested uses: seminar-style group-to-group video conferencing or hybrid meetings/classes
    
    

• Waltner 116

  • Size: up to 75 people in rows if rooms are not subdivided

  • Amenities

    • Dimmable lights

    • Six 86" displays

    • Three dedicated PCs (center PC can be displayed on all six displays)

    • Three dedicated cameras (pan-tilt-zoom, only one can be used at a time)

    • Ceiling microphones and speakers with a control panel in the center room (can be used as a single unit or as separate circuits for smaller meetings)

    • One HDMI cable in each room for optional user PC connection (shows only on the display nearest the cable in each room)

    • 86" primary primary display with 49" presenter confidence monitor (monitor works only with built-in PC)
