Quick Conversations with One or More Colleagues

Google Chat lives in your AMBS email or as a dedicated app on your phone. For quick yes/no/clarification questions of a colleague it is often much quicker and lightweight than composing an email. It can even be used for lively (text-based) group conversations.

If you find that you need to share a file or resource you can search Google Drive from within the chat and upload a file to share with the group (you don't have to switch over to Google Drive, find the file, change sharing settings, copy a link, return to the Chat, and paste the link ... you just click the Google Drive icon, find the file, click OK).

And if you find that you need some face to face or audio elements, you can start a Google Meet directly from Google Chat.
