Appointment Slots

Appointment slots are a way to explicitly advertise your availability to meet in a given time frame. When you create an even on your calendar and specify that it is for appointment slots, Google creates a separate registration page that you can send to potential attendees. Attendees can use that page to claim a spot on your calendar.

Creating Appoinment Slots

The silent video on this page demonstrates the steps below, but here they are in text form.

  1. Create an event on your calendar and indicate that it's for appointment slots.

  2. Specify the duration of each appointment.

  3. Specify the time frame for the appointments.

  4. Google will create as many appointment slots of duration (step 2) as will fit in the time frame (step 3)--for example, if you want 20 minute meetings and you're available for those meetings between 2:00 - 4:00 PM, create appointment slots of 20 minute duration with a beginning time of 2:00 PM and an ending time of 4:00 PM.

  5. Once the appointment slots are created, send people a link to your appointment page. You can find the link to the appointment page on the event you created.
